While bird houses accommodate primarily cavity nesting birds there are several other products which appeal to a wide variety of nesting birds including goldfinches, cardinals and hummingbirds.   All birds need materials to build their nests with and our WBU Nesting Building Material and Nesting Material offer a wide variety of items that birds can use to build their nests with.  We also offer sturdy hardware to mount your bird house on. This is useful in outdoor spaces without trees or fences to hanging houses on as well as for birds that prefer to have a taller bird house with a clear flight path such as bluebirds and swallows.

APS Mounting System: Our exclusive, patented WBU Advanced Pole System® (APS) Basic Setup Mounting Hardware is the perfect beginning to your ultimate housing and/or watering station designed to meet your own individual needs.

Just twist the 3-foot base pole into the ground using the convenient corkscrew auger. Next slide the Stabilizer onto the base pole and push into the ground (Tests show the stabilizer holds the pole straight in up to 35 MPH wind gusts). Add the extension pole and dual flange (specially-designed to mount bird feeders or houses), and then top it with a bird house. (Bird house not included.)

Nest Building Material: Our packaged nesting material, made from natural cotton fibers, is an easy way to offer your birds the material they need for their home-building needs. Simply hang it up and let your birds take what they need to create a place of their own, or take the ball apart and stuff filling in a wreath holder or peanut feeder.

Hummer Helper Nesting Material: Composed of all natural fiber that has not been treated with chemicals, Hummer Helper Nesting Material takes the place of spider webs and lichen in lining the nests of everyone's favorite tiny marvels: hummingbirds. This isn't just a great opportunity for hummingbirds; goldfinches, titmice and other birds also use it. (S Hook sold separately.)

WBU Wood Shavings: Our WBU Wood Shavings are made from pine trees and provide an annual replenishment of nesting material for woodpeckers, ducks, owls and a variety of other birds which excavate their wood shavings.  Wood shavings resemble the bits of wood a bird would typically excavate from a nesting cavity.  They provide a bit of bedding for the nest and also encourage birds to nest because they resemble a natural situation. Wood shavings are better than sawdust, which can mat down and retain moisture. Our WBU Wood Shavings are sold in 3.75 Liter (1 Gallon) for individual houses.
