Cedar Bark Butter® Log: Our Cedar Bark Butter Logs are made of Solid Northern White Cedar and are a unique and attractive way to feed Birdacious® Bark Butter®. These are recycled logs - made from cut-offs from a furniture factory! Four holes in this log fit our Birdacious® Bark Butter® Plugs. One of the benefits of this feeder is its large size accommodates the large woodpeckers including Pileated Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpeckers and Hairy Woodpeckers. Please note: The cedar logs may have cracks when you get them. If they don’t, you can expect them to crack as they dry. The cracking stops at the core and will not split the log in half. This adds a rustic appearance to the logs. Make the cracks functional! Fill them with Bark Butter®, leftover suet, or nuts.
